Domino Sock

Finally I adding a sock project to my sock blog, I guess I went through a phase of wanting to do other projects. I really can not tell you much about the yarn because I bought it in Germany, it is 80% wool and it feels like it. It appears to be washable according to the label. The hook size I used is a size 5. It is hard to tell because it is an older blue plastic needle I use whenever I crochet socks using a sport weight yarn. So here is the pattern:
This pattern is based off and easy sock pattern found here:

http://www.planetshoup.com/easy/crochet/ribsox.shtml

Edited: The pattern this is based off of uses a 3mm hook. Materials I used in another sock I made is sport weight with a size e hook.

Chain 40

Row 1: sc in 2 chain and in each one across, ch1, turn (39 sc)

* Note sc in the back loops the entire time.

Rows 2-4: sc in in each sc across ch1, turn

Row 5: sc in of next 18, 2 sc in the next 3 sc, sc in next 18 sc, ch1, turn

Row 6: sc of next 18, [2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next sc] 3 times, sc in the next 18 sc, ch1, turn

Row 7: sc in of next 18, [2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 2 sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Row 8: sc in of next 18, [2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Row 9-16: sc across, ch1, turn

Row 17: sc in the next 18, [decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc, 1 sc in next 3 sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Row 18: sc in of next 18, [decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc, 1 sc in next 2sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Row 19: sc in of next 18, [decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Row 20: sc in of next 18, [decrease 1 sc over next 2 sc] 3 times, sc in of next 18, ch1, turn

Rows 21-24: sc across, ch1, turn

Start domino square pattern:

Chain 13,sc in the second chain from hook and sc in next 11 stitches. Sc in the next 13 sc (still in the back loops) along the side of the sock, ch1, turn

Sc in the next 11 stitches, decrease 2 sc over the next 3 sc (*insert hook in next stitch, yo and draw loop* 3 times yo and draw through all four loops), sc in the next 11 stitches, ch1, turn

Sc in the next 10 stitches, decrease 2 sc over the next 3 sc, sc in the next 10 stitches, ch1, turn

Sc in the next 9 stitches, decrease 2 sc over the next 3 sc, sc in the next 9 stitches, ch1, turn

Continue in this manner until all the stitches are worked and the square in complete, ending with the decrease of the last three sc.

To work the next square, sc 12 sc along the top of the completed square and sc in the next 13 sc along the side of sock. Ch1, turn

Repeat for the final square
